5 steps to cut stomach fat and get a flat sexy tummy.

Introduction

There are plenty of reason why you should cut your stomach fat, and also plenty of reasons why you have that stomach fat in the first place. In this article, I will look at the reasons why you should cut stomach fat, and I will also share my 5 step system for getting rid of your excess belly fat.

Let's start by looking at the reasons and the benefits of losing that ugly (and dangerous) stomach fat.

Did you know that excess stomach fat can kill you?

Its true, if you have too much stomach fat you greatly increase your chance of contracting life threatening diseases like diabetes, heart attack and cancer. Surveys also showed that flat abs are the most attractive body part. Who doesn't want to increase their pulling power and health?

But there may be various things standing in your way of achieving a flat stomach. One of it may be that your abs is hidden underneath fat. If you ever want to see that beautiful abs ever again, you will have to cut that stomach fat. Let's see how:

Step 1: Eat more fat burning food and less fatty food

hat you eat greatly influences the amount of body fat you have. You can increase your lean muscle mass and burn fat by choosing your food more carefully.

Fat burning food to stock up on include:

  • Nuts
  • Beans and pulses
  • Spinach and other green vegetables
  • Chicken and other lean meat
  • Oats
  • Diary (low fat)
  • Eggs
  • Wholegrains.

Also, never skip a meal and always try to eat foods low in saturated fat.


Step 2: Take up weight training

The secret to weight training is that when you weight train, you build muscles. And muscles eat fat. Weight training increases your resting metabolism. This is your rate of calorie burn when you are at rest. This means that a higher metabolism means that you will be burning calories even in your sleep.

To get the best results out of weight training, alternate lower and upper body training for at least three times a week.

Step 3: Stress less

When you stress, your body produces more cortisol. Excess cortisol in the body leads to fat being stored in the tummy. To lessen this effect try to do relaxing exercises like yoga and meditation.

Yoga also strengthens the core (your abs and hip stabilizers) and will also lead to a firmer tummy.


Step 4: Increase your daily activity

Try to get more movement in your daily activities as possible. Some tips to increase your daily activity are:

  • Go for walks more often (take your dog with you if you have one)
  • Take the stairs instead of the lift
  • Play with your kids (if you have any) more often outdoors.

All these little activities burn calories and really add up in the end.

Step 5: Do some cardio exercise

For best fat burning results, I recommend that you do 20 minutes of cardio, 2 times a week. Long endurance cardio is actually bad for you, because after 20 minutes your body starts to burn muscles for energy. So always stick to only 20 minutes of cardio. The best cardio for fat burn is interval training.

Simple interval training program

If you measure your exertion on a scale from 1 to 10, with 10 being to most you can do, and 1 almost nothing (in other words, level 5 would be a lower speed and lower intensity where level 9 would be at 90% exertion), do the following:

  • Do two minutes at level 5, and then you take the level up every minute until you get to a level 9 intensity (90% exertion).
  • After level 9 intensity you begin to take it down until a level six and then up again until nine (stay at each level for 1 minute).
  • Continue this for twenty minutes.

If you follow the above steps, you will definitely cut stomach fat and get flat, sexy six pack abs. Start to really believe in yourself and to look after what you eat, because you deserve to look and feel your best.
