Facebook. It's actually a great social networking site. You get to share what's on your mind and people would comment on what you just typed in that field. You can share photos, you can share videos, you can share applications and etc. I think you get the idea.

You can see what your friends are up to. They can see what you are up to. Well it depends though if parties are willing to share such information. Some share their insights of movies, music, activities and etc. Well I guess I don't need to explain all this to you. I'm just gonna proceed to what's been bugging me about this whole Facebook thing.

I don't like it when people share their intimate feelings on Facebook. Some aren't even real feelings. Some are just looking forward for the comments on that particular dramatic status. Some share their deepest sorrows for everyone to see. Question: Why? I don't know why. You don't need to shout it out to the world. I mean if you wanna talk to someone, call them. That's why we still have phones, mobile phones. Don't discuss problems online. Sometimes, they leak. Sometimes people have proof. "Copy and paste." And then send it to someone's e-mail.

Another thing that bugs me. Why can't you delete a Facebook account? Do you know. If you know, please comment on this post okay? I wanna know. I have an old account and I disabled it, but it's not fully deleted. I thought by "disable," that means to delete the whole thing but no.

I don't like it when people post "R.I.P Michael Jackson" as their status. It's not like Michael Jackson can read it. Some would say that it's just about respect. No, some aren't even fans. They only became fans when He died. I say, fake fans. And some say "we'll miss you M.J!" Why? Have you ever been into the whole Michael Jackson thing to begin with. What is there to miss?

Facebook. Useful yet sometimes it gives you problems. Maybe not major problems but it can give you headaches. Some stalk! They go on your page a lot and see what you're up to. Some gossip. But it's all good. It's just another product of society and mankind that we all have to accept. MySpace, Facebook, Friendster, Twitter, and etc.

You know what I like? HubPages!

Thanks for reading,

Ron Mariano
