Flatten the tube and align the raw edges. Secure with pins for sewing. NOTE: You have a choice of aligning the side seam with one corner of the bag or putting it in the middle of one of the unseamed sections. Sew the bottom closed.

Put your hand inside the bag and fan your hand out perpendicular to the corners. Force the corners to point out. Fold in between them and align the two corners with each other then unfold them. Get them as close to the same size as possible.

One at a time, measure 1" from each corner and mark a sewing line. Keep it as straight as you can since this is going to give your bag a "box" look on its bottom. Sew on the line.

10" x 12" piece of fabric

10" piece of beading lace, approx. 1/2" width

18" of 1/8" craft ribbon

Lay the piece of fabric on your work surface with the long sides to your left and right, good side up.

Measure 4" from the bottom on each long side and mark the spots in some way.

Lay your beading lace on top of the fabric and align the bottom edge with your marks on each side. Pin to hold it in place for sewing. Sew the beading lace to the fabric on the long sides of the lace using a straight stitch.

With the fabric's good side up, fold in half, long edge to long edge and pin in place for sewing. The good side is now on the inside. Sew along the long edge.

You now have a tube with the right sides of the fabric on the inside. Fold back one of the raw edges, bringing the right side of the fabric to the outside, and align that raw edge with the other raw edge.

Make sure the beading lace is on the inside of the tube you just formed (right side of fabric inside and outside).

Fold in between the two aligning the corners with each other. Get them as close to the same size as possible.

One at a time, measure 1" from each corner and mark a sewing line. Keep it as straight as you can since this is going to give your bag a "box" look on its bottom. Sew on the line.

Turn the bag right side out and weave the 18" piece of ribbon through the beading lace. I used a darning needle to weave the ribbon through the lace. Tie the ends together so the ribbon does not come out. NOTE: You could put 2 pieces of ribbon through the lace and pull one to each side of the bag.

Fill with your choice of goodies and ...

Voila! You're done!
