Felice Schachter played Nancy Olson on the 1970/1980s sitcom The Facts of Life. She was lucky enough to be the first girl cast on the show, but her luck quickly turned sour when she was cut from the cast in the second season when the show was “retooled.” However, she continued to make frequent guest appearances on the show until 1986.

In 1981, Felice starred opposite Scott Baio in the movie Zapped!

After she was cut from the cast of The Facts of Life, Schachter continued to guest star on several popular television programs such as Diff’rent Strokes, Love of Live, The Adams Chronicles, Alice, Love American Style, The New Monkees, and The David Letterman Show.

In 1985, Felice earned a B.A. in Semiotics at Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island. Around the same time, Felice was featured on CBS Sports as NHL Gossip Reporter Vera Vixen.

In the late 1990s, Felice started to do some behind the camera work. She served as the production coordinator on such shows as The Twilight of the Golds, Uncle Sam, and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. She’s also worked on shows and films like JAG, High Tide, Born Free, The Citizen, Waste Land, Jackie, and Knockaround Guys with Barry Pepper, Vin Diesel, and Seth Green.

After the 9/11 attacks, Felice volunteered at Chelsea Piers Volunteer Center as a Transportation Coordinator. It was her responsibility to get supplies to ground zero, pick up donated items, and give rides home to firemen and rescue workers.

Since then, Felice has put together a benefit for Families of Freedom scholarship fund, raising over $250,000 to be used on educational scholarships for children who lost a parent in the 9/11 attacks. The fund Is now worth more than $113 million.
