Balance Your Energy and Your Life: Use a Feng Shui Symbol
When it comes to decorating your home or office space, the best thing to do is to use décor that represents your life, your personality and your spirit. Don’t just fall for whatever is the current trend -- be yourself. One way to do this is to have your own Feng Shui symbol that represents yourself and your goals. A Feng Shui symbol is not necessarily universal in every culture and belief network. Here is some information about a Feng Shui symbol you should know when it is time to decorate or redecorate your personal space:BackgroundBefore knowing what a Feng Shui symbol represents, it is necessary to know what Feng Shui is exactly. Feng Shui is a Chinese practice that goes back centuries. It is used modernly for decorating one’s living and/or working space. Feng Shui believes that life energy, or “chi” is carried throughout a room. Chi can help make your life more relaxed and help you achieve your goals and aspirations, but you have to have the objects in your personal space arranged in a way so that chi can circulate throughout your home.Feng Shui SymbolsUsually a Feng Shui symbol is a ceramic figure that has Chinese symbols painted in black on the figure. It has a cord connected to it, with a tassel that hangs on the bottom. The best way to know where to place one of these symbols is to get a map along with it that will direct you to which section of the house the object needs to be in. For instance, to improve your career, you can place a Feng Shui symbol in the entrance of the front door of your house. Other symbols such as prosperity, wealth, and good luck can be place in other sections of the home to increase the chi of that particular section. Some have found that wearing a Feng Shui symbol as jewelry also helped increase their luck. Although success in your career, marriage or any other aspect of your life depends heavily on you, it doesn’t hurt to use a Feng Shui symbol to help propel your luck in those aspects of your life even further. Even if you are a skeptic, try it out, place a symbol somewhere in your home and see how it helps your life -- it may be worth it.Share it! — Rate it: up down [flag this hub]

Hi Ponnu
Great information on Feng Shui. Thanks for sharing.
I love reading comments on feng shui. This is one of my favoutrite topics and I have written a few articles on it myself. I am far from an expert, but love exploring the possibilities of feng shui. For me, it is not just the objects that are important, but the personal thought and the spirit brought to the objects. I love the feng shui idea of using pebbles and water features to create a connection with nature. A very spiritual concept! Thank you for explaining feng shui a little differently!
