Bluetooth has invaded our culture.  You cannot go anywhere without seeing someone "talk to themselves."  Since the headset is obstructed in most cases, you do not even realize people are talking to other people on their cell phones.  These headsets have made it easier for callers to talk on the phone hands-free.  Since more consumers are investing in Bluetooth headsets, it can be hard to find the right fit.

First, pay attention to the fit above anything else. If you cannot find the right Bluetooth headset that fits your ear size and shape, you will be uncomfortable. Being uncomfortable can hurt your ear, cause long-term hearing damage and be a waste of your time. The wrong fitted headset can make it difficult to hear those you are talking to and vice versa. Since you may not be in the range for either the ear piece or mouth piece, it may futile to try a wrong fitting headset from the start.

Next, keep in mind that not all headsets work with your phone. Even if it is supposed to work for your phone, there could still be complications. Trial and error is key to finding the right Bluetooth headset. Most cell phone users go with one headset, even if it does not work, and keep it despite the fact that it works poorly. Do not stick with it if it does not work, you feel uncomfortable with it or you just plain do not like it.

Finally, take the time to find the right Bluetooth headset.  Buying the wrong one can be a costly mistake.  By buying the wrong one and keeping it, you not only lose out on your hard earned money, you can also cause damage to your ear.  If you have to try out Bluetooth headsets, return them and find another one, do it.  It is worth finding the perfect fit for you, your phone and your Bluetooth solution.
