Imagine this.

You are sitting there in front of your date and you both are interested in one another but you just don't know how to convey this interest to get to know her better in a way that doesn't make you look like a sleaze or a fool.

So what do you need to do?

You need first date conversation topics!

But heck, what do I talk about?

Do I ask her about her family? her pets? her love life?

What should I say or ask... I'm stumped!

Then... the rest of the night just goes by very awkwardly with both of you stumbling around trying to make decent conversation.

Then... the date ends. And you never hear from her again..

It sucks when you have nothing interesting to talk about. What's worse is that you're not even that shy, you just didn't know what to ask her!

Well since I am so awesome, I have taken 10 questions from my article on first date conversation topics and posted them here.

Mind you, these conversation topics are a bit more tame compared to what I would go into. However, this post is written on the assumption that you are going out with a girl on the first "traditional" date. Otherwise, I'd be doing things much more fun and interesting!

1. You can talk about her family - Just be sure when you do though you are not coming across as too needy and let her know you want to be best friends with her mum. It's good to find out who she is close with in her family so that you know who you need on your side!

2. Interesting things she did as a kid- what did she used to get up to as a child and what kind of mischief did she cause!

3. Loyalty - Ask her if she heard about people talking rumours about her friend and she overheard it, what would she do?

4. Her dream tonight - If she could relax and dream tonight, what would the contents of her dream be?

5. How social is she - Imagine if she was at a party, and there was no one there she knew, would she want to go there alone just to meet these people? You can tell how social she is as a person from this question!

6. Personal development - Ask her what time in her life did she feel that she grew the most and in what aspect of her life?

7. Time traveller? - Ask her if she could time travel but would never be able to come back, would she do it and what period of time would she visit?

8. History maker - If she could make something change in history what would she have done.

9. Self awareness test - If her friends and family were able to talk to her directly about her short comings would she like to hear them or would she rather not?

10. Happy childhood?- If there was something in her childhood life that she could change, what would it be and how would it change her life?

So what do you think?

These questions are all structured towards her and are geared in an interesting manner that keeps her the focus of the conversation!
