A home based business... it's the goal for many... no more commute, no more 9-5, no more boss telling you what to do and what not to do, take vacations when you like, the list of reasons why running a successful home based business goes on and on.

Some Brief History

You see I started out, let me see, at the time of writing around 4 years ago. I was working for a rather large and well known corporation and let me tell you I hated it. From the moment I walked into the door at 8am on a Monday until the moment I left at 4:30pm on a Friday, all I could think about was how much longer until the weekend. Those 2 days of freedom where I could finally do something I wanted to do.

The things is I had never received or seen one of these before (to this day I still don't know how I got on this guy's mailing list!). And after reading this rather lengthy sales letter promising me riches and freedom I couldn't get my credit card out quick enough. Now call me naive if you like but I am sure most people have at least one moment in their life when the heart completely takes over their brain and they say "oh what the heck." Well I had one such moment.

Well I sent of for the package which consisted of from memory a couple of CD's and a manual. And you'll never guess what I did with it. It arrived in a rather large box which I opened, checked to see it was all there, scanned the letter that accompanied it and moved it to one side. And there it stayed... never to be opened again. In fact to this day I still haven't listened to 1 second of the CD's or read 1 word in the manual.

Don't think it stopped there though. Oh no. You see I was on this guys customer list now. I was in his marketing funnel and soon enough, more offers started coming my way. These were of course more expensive than the last and promised even more riches in half the time it would normally take. And yep, I kept getting my credit card out. All told I spent tens and tens of thousands of dollars on CD's, DVD's, seminars over the course of about 3 years. And during those 3 years I earned the grand sum of zero dollars and zero cents.

Then one day (about a year ago actually) I was introduced to a book... a book which quite literally changed my life completely and forever. This book showed me the millionaires mindset, how to attract riches and how to finally achieve my dream of owning a profitable home based business. So what's the title of this book? Now I had never even heard of the original Think And Grow Rich before and it was around the time I was introduced to the new version that there was quite a lot of publicity surrounding The Secret.
