Good things and bad things about this camera

This kids camera comes with an extra memory card that is very helpful because it holds 200 pictures and children being children, can be engaged for several hours filling it up with shots. It is so easy to use that even a child of 1 year can use it and have some fun.The only slight disadvatange is that the quality is not as good as an adult camera, but so what? It's just for fun and if it encourages them to get interested in photography then that is an added bonus.

Because it is not a real SLR as you would expect, it is very easy to cut off the top of someone's head when taking a photo. So you will need to teach your child how to avoid this. When they have the hang of it, it is easy after that.

So my grandchild really liked it and moreso because the results are instant. The one main feaure is that the camera id very tough and quite ok about being badly handled or having water split on it. Finally it is easily hooked up to your comnuter for printouts if you want. These types of connections are much easier today with UBS connections and you will have no probs at all.

Fisher price digital camera question

Q:How do I download photos from a Fisher Price Digital Camera via USB?

A:Just connect the usb from your camera to your computer. If a screen comes up close it out. Open My Computer and look for a removable drive. That's your camera. Open it and drag and drop the pictures to your computer.

1.One of the best toy purchases I've made. My 2 year old boy doesn't have a lot of interest in "toys" and prefers the real thing. No we have the best of both worlds: a working digital camera that's stood up to the best my son can do. It's the most fun when there are two kids:

2.Kids can run around taking pictures of each other going "Say cheese!" It's fun to look at the pictures and send them to the grandparents.

This turned out to be one of the best toy purchases I've made. My two year old son doesn't have a lot of interest in "toys"; instead he prefers the real (and often breakable) thing. Here we have the best of both worlds: a working digital camera that's stood up to the best my son can do. It's the most fun when there are two kids: they can run around taking pictures of each other going "Say cheese!"

It's fun to look at the pictures and send them to the grandparents. It almost goes without saying the picture quality is poor, however if you read the manual you can increase the quality pretty easily. Copying pictures off the camera is easy: just plug a USB cable into the camera and your computer (no extra software needed). Battery life has also proven to be good. I've had it about four months and only changed batteries once.

The only minor complaint I have: the button to take pictures is on the front which is a little awkward for small hands.
