Any of the fishermen that you speak to all have their little rituals that they do before, while and after they go on their fishing trip. Some fishermen get all of their tackle geared up for the next day so that they can get to their hottest fishing spots before the sun rises. Some fishermen sharpen all their hooks to make sure that they do not loose that trophy sized Mahi Mahi or Sailfish.

Then there are some fishermen who have their own personal good luck charms to help bring them some luck on their fishing trip. I don't know but this may seem weird but I like to wear one of my fishing tee shirts that actually has a graphic of the type of fish I am going after on the back of it. I don't have to wear this type of fishing T-shirt but I choose to because I personal believe it gives us some good luck. I usually go out to the fishing store and buy me some fishing tee shirt that will have a certain species of fish on it that I am hunting for on our next fishing trip.

For example, I have a whole drawer that is filled up with Guy Harvey fishing shirts which have all different types of species of fish on them from Mahi Mahi, Sailfish, Kingfish, Yellowfin Tuna, you name it and I got it. But, if you name a fish and I don't have the fishing tee shirt then there can only be 2 reasons why and they are: 1. They don't make the shirt 2. I have not caught that species of fish yet

This may sound weird to you but this is one of my perosnal rules about wearing a fishing t-shirt or fishing hat when I fish. I will not wear a Guy Harvey fishing shirt unless I have personally caught and boated the fish. Having a species of fish on the line but can't be boated doesn't count. If you don't have the right fishing gear to boat the fish you are in deep trouble. 

So every fishing tee shirt that I wear shows everyone that yes, I have caught this fish and I wear the fishing t-shirt as kind of a way of saying this is one of my trophies from one of my last fishing trips. You want to know which one of my Guy Harvey shirts I have not been able to wear yet? The Silver King A.K.A the Tarpon. All you other fishermen know why too. I can get them on the line but I can't keep them from breaking me off.

So as to end my story. If you think my fishing ritual about not wearing certain species of Guy harvey shirts until I catch them is weird, I don't blame you. But if you see the amount of fish that I catch because I do wear the fishing t-shirt with the species I am going after, then you may want to consider adding this fishing ritual to yours.
