Must offer him food or just feeding him

My son is having food intake problem, we have try many diffrent mathod to encourage him eating, but still the same. he just doesnt boder, if parent dont feeding him, he keep quiet, I am sure that he feels hungry but never ask for food. Asking for drink yes, but very saldom, maybe when he really thristy?

Its took hours to feed him for one meal time. My wife used to do that with her passion of course..but play? dont say. He's favorite toys is "Thomas and Friends". He can sit and play for hours with his toys.

A good thing, he loves fruits and soup,

He is very excited if we offer him" we go out to eat "especially dine in at Italian restaurant.

Must we go to such place every time, to make him appetite?
