Ebay can be a lucrative business, but can be costly. It can be a surprise to see fees pile up and creep up on your profit margin. That's why it's important with an e-commerce business like this to stay on top of your costs, not just the sales. Here are some tips on cutting costs so you can make a bigger profit right now:

  1. Always review your billing statement. Review your fees. Did you receive all of your referral credits for sales you referred yourself? Are listing sale prices reflected accurately in your statement? Check through with a fine tooth comb, and contact support if you have some mistakes.
  2. Drive your own traffic. Driving your own traffic to your store will increase your referral credits, and decrease your sellers fees. 
  3. Group like items together in lots, especially smaller ones. Grouping items can save not only on listing fees, but will save you time.
  4. Order in bulk. Packing supplies and your Ebay items may have to be shipped to you. Ordering in bulk can save you some money on shipping if the seller gives a discount for additional items.
