Free Food Clip Art

I can't tell you how many times I've wanted to use food clip art on my healthy recipes site and there was none to be found. So I finally created this collection of free food clip art in the Picnik free graphics program, the online photo editing site that anyone can use.

This collection obviously doesn't cover every kind of food, but I've included as many as I could in the following categories:

• Main dishes
• Desserts and candy
• Fruits and vegetables
• Beverages
• Bread and cheese

I hope these will give you at least some options the next time you need illustrations for a picnic or potluck flier, dinner invitation, blog post or Web site recipe page. Unfortunately, Picnik didn't have an illustration of my favorite dessert, peanut butter cookies, but I guess those would have been a little hard to illustrate!

Choose a small thumbnail version of any of the food clip art images in the right column. When you click on one of the images, it will appear larger.

IMPORTANT: Once you've chosen an image and see it larger, double-click on the larger image, which will make the best version of the art appear. Sorry for the extra step, but this will give you the highest quality art.

Then, if you have a PC, just right-click and save the final version of the artwork to your hard drive.

Note to Internet Explorer users: You may have to click one more time after following the instructions above. In other words, click on the image that comes up after clicking on the large image.
