List of Eight of the top Survey Sites on the Internet for Free
Many people feel that anything to do with making money online is a scam. They have every right to do so simply because there are so many scam websites out there that promise you easy cash or gift certificates for a little of your time online. These almost always never pay off. I have personally being doing paid surveys for over 7 years online. There are major consumer research panels out there and they will pay you for your time when you participate in their surveys.
This is my personal list of these websites in order of frequency of surveys and the best payments. These have paid me with checks, Amazon gift certificates, and PayPal throughout the years. All you have to do is simply sign up for these websites as a panelist and wait for them to send you an email invite to a survey. The email will tell you how much money each survey is worth and an average of how much time is required to complete it.
I suggest that you make a new email account just to sign up for these survey sites. These enables you to go to one place and quickly check to see what surveys you have available. It also simplifies things a bit if you make a favorites tab called survey sites and add all your survey sites you sign up for to this tab for quick navigation to them. It will take awhile to get your first surveys after you sign up so don’t expect them right away.
Is this too good to be true? Well don’t sign up for anything, just simply go and take a look for yourself at some of these websites. Consumer opinion research is big money to these companies and what you get paid is a fraction of what they actually earn with the results from their user base. Private companies pay big money for this research. Practically every product you buy has been through this research at some point. The internet has just simplified things for everyone in the process especially by allowing the companies to reach a broader spectrum of consumers with ease.
Frequently Asked Questions
- Question: How old do I need to be to participate?
- Answer: I personally suggest you be 18 years of age or older. This is simply because before being able to participate in a survey you will have to qualify for it first. The websites are looking for daily consumers of purchased products and minors typically do not fit this criteria.
- Question: Am I under any obligation to complete the surveys?
- Answer: No. Do the surveys you want ignore the ones you are not interested in. If you don’t have time there is no obligation to do any of them. Its all on a volunteer basis.
- Question: Do I need a credit card or any other payment method to sign up?
- Answer: No. None of the sites I have listed require payment of any sort to join or receive surveys and payment.
- Question: What if I don’t have a PayPal account to receive payment?
- Answer: You can always receive a check by mail. Given this takes longer than PayPal but it is a good alternative. Payment by mail will usually take 4 to 6 weeks. Amazon gift certificates codes are sent directly to your email address on file. I prefer PayPal personally as it lets me spend my money quickly and easily.
- Question: How long does each survey take on average?
- Answer: Expect to spend anywhere from 5 minutes to 1 hour based on the surveys payment incentive. The longer the survey the better it pays you.
- Question: How much money will I make?
- Answer: Your not going to strike it rich for sure. You will however make an average of $3.00 to $10.00 maybe once a day or every few days depending on what surveys you qualify for. Keep in mind the higher paying web surveys tend to meet their quota fast. Pay attention to your email and get in quick.
