TIme Residence: a fully rotating tower in dubai.
66Dubai's latest mind blowing archetectural novelty is a tower that can rotate through 360degrees. each floor of the building will rotate independently.
Time Residence is the company that has put forth the project. after major technical and archetectural marvels like the Burj-Al-Arab , the palm island , the 3000sq.ft. snow park etc..etc.
whats more fascinating is the fact that the building will not be powered by burning Saudi oil but, by the wind the building will trap and use through huge turbines. the BBC was quoted as saying "The 420-metre (1,378-foot) building's apartments would spin a full 360 degrees, at voice command, around a central column by means of 79 giant power-generating wind turbines located between each floor". the building is in its design phase now.
