FurReal Friends Toys So Life Like You Won't Believe They Aren't Animals

Something happened to me at Christmas time that amazed me, my ex brother in law’s daughter brought her new toy with her to dinner. There was also a new baby in the house and they were getting equal attention. When it was my turn to see the toy cat what first stuck me was how life like the cat was. It had long white flowing fur and was about the size of my small cat Bella.

We had to reach underneath it to turn it on, and she started moving her head a bit. As you pet the cat in different places she would react just like a real cat would. You could rub her belly, tickle her under the chin, and rub her back.

I own two cats and have had cats my entire life I couldn’t get over how real this cat acted she hissed, cocked her head, purrs, blinks, and stretches a bit.

I asked what is this toy? I was told this was a FurReal Cat.

I could see this cat as a companion for someone who can’t have a pet like a person in an apartment or allergic to pet hair.

If you have family in nursing homes I would consider getting them a FurReal Friend for therapeutic reasons. As you can probably tell I was blown away.

I did a little research and found this was the first of many FurReal Friends; they’ve made dogs, parrots, horses, pandas, lion cubs, lambs and a whole lot more. We’ll talk about them all.
