Today is October2, the day when father of our nation Mahatma Gandhi born. I just on my T.V and happened to see Gandhi film directed by Richard Attenborough. I watched the same film years back without much emotions and knowledge. Now I am grown up and started considering facts more seriously. Mahatma Gandhi is a legend who fought for our freedom and pride. This is a historic fact and I am not going to narrate that story. But while watching the film I couldn’t turn away from some touching scenes. The scene between Gandhi and his wife was brilliantly narrated in the film. Loving couples! I just started to think of our father of nation and I couldn’t control my emotions. Oh my God. What a great man he was. Can anyone live with such a tolerance and patience like Gandhi lived? Gandhiji defeated a nation where sun never sets with the help of a sharp weapon – non violence. Did the world give credit to Gandhi what he truly deserved? I really pity on Nobel price academy that reluctant to award Nobel Prize for peace to Mahatma. Anyway Gandhi never did anything for himself. His life was full of sacrifice, love and great lesson. Gandhian thoughts are still relevant in this modern era where terrorism at its best. What would Gandhiji do about terrorism? Tears in my eyes after a long time
