When I was growing up I didn’t realize there were other clothes than Garanimals or other stores than JC Penny. Anytime my mother thought I needed new clothes or more likely because the ones I was wearing had holes in the knees, we would rise and shine and head out to the mall. Garanimals were the only choices my mother would let me make on my own. I can remember her leaving me alone at those racks of clothes for what seemed like a very long time picking out exactly what I wanted. But that isn’t really the reason for this hub.

The first time I heard the song animals by Nickleback I immediately though that they should do a joint promotion with the Garanimals clothing line. So I took it upon myself to write the lyrics for their pending joint venture. I think nickelback would be a great band for any company to do business with but I am sure this wouldn’t be the song any of them would choose if they first heard the lyrics. So naturally I ended up pairing children’s wear with a fairly seedy rock song, but with the new lyrics I think it comes out great.
