The most common problems i find with the ge profile dishwasher is not draining properly, after the cycle is complete there is a noticable amount of water left at the bottom of the dishwasher.

This is usually caused by a defected piston nut, the piston nut is a little plastic mechanism that open and close to let water go in different directions dependind on how much water is in the dishwasher, it is located inside the dishwasher at the back behind the lint filter.

The computer control, like all other computer controls go bad sometimes, if all the lights on the control lit up and it will not operate on any cycles that you try to set it on, this usually mean the control is defective.
