Do I Have To Count Calories To Lose Weight?

Why Calories do not matter!
Counting calories has become as normal as brushing our teeth. We are wired up to worry about calories which we perceive as a kind of barometer to our weight.
In fact, calories serve only one useful purpose, they take the focus off your diet and distract you from the realization that to lose weight with a diet, is to cut down on your food and that means you go hungry. A very difficult thing to do for anyone. Calories are a bit like worry beads, playing around with them takes the focus off the hunger.
So you will lose weight for a while, but consistent hunger will eventually drive your body into famine mode. That means the limited food you eat will no longer be available for energy because you body has taken charge, and it will no longer let you spend your resources on wasteful things like energy.
What your body will do with your food instead is to store it on your body as fat. That's to make sure that you will get through the long and difficult famine in relative safety. Why long and difficult? Well chances are you have been through diets before and the body has learned from experience that such famines need extreme measures.
Only the most dedicated and motivated dieter gets much beyond this point before giving in and giving up. Your hunger will eventually defeat you, not immediately, but in stages. bit by bit the weight will return and eventually you will find yourself with more weight that when you started. This is your body letting you know that it has given you protection against the next famine. In other words, the more you diet, the more you compound the weight problem
Realistically, to succeed with a diet means you have to stay on the diet. No normal human being will succeed to do that long term. It simply goes against nature. That is why it can be said categorically that diets cannot and will not work..Ever!
So what about calories? let's face it, once you realize that diets don't work why would you bother to count calories?
Do you know that most people in the sixtieths and seventieths were not only unconcerned with diets and calories, they had no need to care. In those days the vast majority of people were of normal weight. Yet today two thirds of the population are overweight and governments are talking about an obesity epidemic. What happened in such a relatively short time?
Only one thing could have happened... Human intervention.
Obviously I would not be promoting such bad news if i did not know a solution, and yes, there most certainly is a solution. The great thing about it is that unlike a diet this will not involve deprivation. Your body will not be under threat so it will have no cause to raise the famine alarm. You will not need a diet to get rid of your weight and you will not need to count calories because you won't be hungry.
It may sound too good, but that's because till now you have seen your weight problem as an insurmountable obstacle to the things you want in your life and none of us ever really believe that we can get everything we want in life. So let me reassure you by telling you that not only will the results make YOU happy, but your body will be happy and nature will approve!
You will very quickly come to view your permanent weight loss as something you don't have to think about. Normal weight will finally be one of those things you take for granted.
