Get rid of belly fat - how to finally do it

I hear a lot of people moan about their belly fat, and looking for an easy way to lose it and more importantly - keep it off for good. This can actually be done. I've done it, and lost about 18 pounds over a period of 2 months. Almost all the weight came down from my belly. I'm now going to tell you how I did it. No tricks, just the truth. OK?

So here we go -

The most important for anyone who is looking for a way to get rid of belly fat, is to stop eating "bad" carbs, and start eating "good" carbs. Bad carbs includes white bread and all of it's products, pasta, potatoes, white rice and of course chocolate, cakes and candy. Many people actually don't realise that eating white bread is very much like eating white sugar!

Now why is that?

Because white bread is easily digestible, and is absorbed very quickly in the body. It turns to glucose within minutes after eating it. The same goes to pasta, potatoes and white rice. The turn to sugar 5 minutes after you ate them! You might as well eat candy...

So what appends next?

The body feels a "surge" of sugar it doesn't know what to do with. So, it turns it into fat and stores it in your stomach. Not to mention the fact that all these sudden surges in sugar level are very unhealthy and increase the risk of diabetes in the long run.

So, when you switch to whole wheat bread, whole rice, and whole what pasta, your body start to work hard to digest the food, and the increase in blood sugar is a lot slower. This means the body can cope with the food you consumed, and does not have to store extra fat in your belly.

Another factor is to exercise regularly. If you do that you get a few benefits:

1. Your metabolism increases. You burn more calories and store less. This helps reduce belly fat as well as over all fat mass. 2. You grow your muscle mass. In addition to being a stronger and healthier person, you will also burn more calories with every move you make. More muscles mean more calories being used to move your body. 3. You firm and tone your body. No point in getting rid of abdominal fat, and exposing your six pack, if you are all mushy underneath, right?

to get rid of belly fat you must get rid of body fat.... avoiding carbs is a good way to start and eat healthy carbs such as fruits and vegetables. best exercises for losing bodyfat (including bellyfat) is cardio.... such as running, skipping, pull ups etc... always try and workout in the morning before breakfast because thats usually when most people workout more intense and burn more fat...

18 stone in 2 months ia really good, but I think that people differ and what works for some don't work for others. Like they allways say works 99% and then I am most often that 1% it does not work on.

How can you exercise to lose weight, when you have severe back problems?

Agreed. Not only white breads but processed sugars like pies, cakes, cookies, ice cream and especially soda. These have the worst effect on your blood sugar/insulin levels. Not saying you should stop having them because we know that they're tasty. Just saying smaller portions is ok. Moderation is the key but if you can really reduce soda or replace it with water during a meal it will make a HUGE difference in fat loss. HUGE difference.
