Guitar Hero, along with Rock Band, is one of the biggest crazes on the market right now. Since its release for the PlayStation, Guitar Hero has brought out the rock star in everyone. The game is great for families, kids, adults and pretty much anyone who has ever had a rock start fantasy.

By utilizing the guitar controller, you essentially act out the lead guitar or bass for a band. However, for the first time user, the guitar can prove to be complicated and confusing. It takes time, practice and a little bit of effort for even the most advanced gamer. Even the most hardcore gamer might need to take some time to figure out how to use the guitar and utilize it to get the highest scores possible per song.

The trick for learning Guitar Hero 3 is to utilize the tutorials within the game. Start out on basic, go through each one and learn how to hold and use the guitar controller. Once you know how to hold it in a way your fingers will work with it, you can begin to go through the more advanced tutorials and even try a song or two. Since you can go through individual parts of each song, you can walk through how to beat them before you even play the game. This gives you a heads up on how to approach a song, how to use the guitar to your advantage and give yourself the head start on beating the game.

Guitar Hero, no matter what version, takes time and practice. If you accept that before going into the game, you can train yourself to work up to the expert setting in no time. Only by swallowing your pride and giving yourself the chance to learn how to play the game will you be able to master Guitar Hero.
