51Golf Club Reviews for Ordinary Golfers
These golf club reviews are written by an ordinary handicap golfer to help other ordinary golfers.Do you get pissed off with people who can hit the ball 300 yards, straight as an arrow, telling you how easy it is and how you should do it?Often they are doing things that personally I am not physically capable of. So I thought it would be nice to have a site that talked about golf from the ordinary golfer's point of view. That understands what it is like to lose a ball in the rough, to shank occasionally, miss two foot putts and to not be able to afford the latest, most expensive new clubs every week. These golf club reviews are for ordinary golfers. So let me start by telling you about the clubs i use.My driver is a clone which I got from Pinemeadow golf two years ago. I have won two club competitions and win most of my matches with it. I hit the ball straight most of the time and it seems to go as far as other golfers using drivers that cost six or seven times as much. The point is that I like the club. It sits nicely on the ground at address. It is light. And it only cost me about $50.I believe that half the secret with any club is that you're comfortable with it. I like my clubs to feel like old friends. So, I don't bother too much about what the clubs look like or what it says on the head cover. What I focus on is keeping the ball on the cut grass. The first professional I had a lesson from told me: "the money is on the cut grass."This has always proved to be a good objective when playing the game. I keep asking myself: “What do I have to do to get the ball on the cut grass?” (Even when I’m standing up to my crotch in long grass).
