Virgin It refers to a woman who has never had any sexual intercourse and defloration refers to the loss of virginity.

False virgin

1. Labia majora:Fleshy,doesn't completely close the vaginal orifice.
2. Labia minora:Pale,insensitive and not covered by labia majora
3. Clitoris:Enlarged
4. Vestibule:Gapping
5. Fourchette:Torn
6. Posterior commissure:Torn
7. Vagina:Roomy
8. Vaginal mucosa:Its Not ruggose.
9. Hymen:Hymen is intact,easily admits tips of two fingers,edges are rounded.
10. Breasts:Breasts are pendulous,soft,nippled enlarged surrounded by dark areola.

Hymen

Hymen is a membranous fold particularly or wholly occluding the external vaginal orifice about 1mm thick.However,its size,flexibility and thickness varies from person to person.

Cause of rupture of hymen

By some exercises(eg biking or horse back riding) and tampon use.

Accident (fall on small projecting object)

Masturbation especially if practices with some large foreign body

Introduction of instruments by doctors

Introduction of thumb to bring at false charge of rape

Artifical dilation of vagina by foreign body to render young girl fit to sexual acts.

Passage of blood clots during menstruation

Disease causing vulvovaginitis e.g ulceration,diphtheria,thread worms,persistent pruritis.

With an intact hymen a woman maybe true virgin or false virgin.In case of false virginity woman has had sex while hymen is intact but dilated.A few cases have been seen where the women borned lacking hymen.

A surgical procedure known as hymenotomy is required to create an opening in women with imperforated hymen to prevent harmul effects like prevention of menstrual discharge by it.

Anothere surgical procedure called hymenorrhaphy is done to repair or replace hymen commonly in the countries where virginity is highly respected and considered as a symbol of womens purity, chastity & virtuousness.

Vagina parts

Actually vagina is one part of outer external genitals of female or vulva but often this part is known as vagina mistakenly.Parts of vulva or external genitalia include labium majus,labium minus,clitoris,vestibule,urethra,vagina or vaginal opening.

Mons:The mons pubis is the eminence of the hairy skinformed by a pad of subcutaneous fat anterior to the pubes lying above the vulva.Pubic hair cover the mons at puberety.

Labium majus:These are the outer lips of vagina(lbaium means lip) covered with hair on outside.Outer lips cover all other parts of vulva.

Labium minus:The inner lips are more soft and delicate folds of skin located between the outer lips and lack hair.They maybe of different colors(purple,red,pink,blackish,brown) depending on bodys color.

Clitoris:The clitoris(or spot) is present where the inner lips join eachother on the top and is a small bundle of nerves.It resembles to penis in shape.Clitoris is protected by clitoral hood which is formed by a little skin fold on the top of inner lips.The clitoris has three parts hood,glans,shaft and is primarily the source of sensation and sexual arousal when touched as its sole function.

Vestibule:Below the clitoris is an opening or cleft,the vaginal vestibule lying between the inner lps.It contains the orifices of the urethr & the vagina,and the opening of the greater vestibular gland on each side of the margin of the orifice.The urethral orifice lies immediately anterior to the vaginal orifice.

Urethra:Urethra is a tube leading to the urinary bladder.It lies just below the clitoris.

The vagina is a muscular tube that extends upward and backward from the vulva to the cervix,first part of the uterus.It measures about 3inches(8cm)long.The vaginal orifice in a virgin possesses a thin mucosal fold called the hymen thats perforated at its center.Again, intact hymen may or mayn't be the sign of virginity,even intact hymen rarely covers the vaginal opening completely.During first sexual intercouse pain or bleeding maybe due to stretching of hymen however there couldbe many other factors invoved.Sometimes hymen remains intact after the first coitus and breaks second or third time.After childbirth hymen consists only of tags.
