Free Graduation Scrapbook Paper and Embellishments

It's graduation time again! If you're a scrapbooker who has a loved one graduating, you'll definitely want to document the occasion by creating a keepsake that will become a family heirloom. The free scrapbook papers and embellishments on this page can help you do that.They also would make great handmade cards.

The scrapbook papers and embellishments on this page were created in Picnik, the free online graphics program anyone can use. To learn how to make your own free images, read my tutorial that describes how to make your own clip art with Picnik. The scrapbook papers give you a variety of options, including mortarboards (graduation caps), "congrats" banners and lots of confetti to celebrate the occasion. There's even a dated version.

The embellishments include a gold seal next to the year; a gold shield, both with the year and an oval cutout that turns it into a frame; a mortarboard and a "sheepskin" or diploma. I've also included links to three-dimensional graduation scrapbook embellishments from Amazon and eBay, in case you'd like to dress up your graduation scrapbook even more.

Choose a small thumbnail version of any of the graduation scrapbook images in the right column. When you click on one of the images, it will appear larger.

IMPORTANT: Once you've chosen an image and see it larger, double-click on the larger image, which will make the best version of the art appear. Sorry for the extra step, but this will give you the highest quality art.

Then, if you have a PC, just right-click and save the final version of the artwork to your hard drive.
