RECIPE FOR MAKING GREEN PLANTAIN PORRIDGE

  1. Get 4 medium size Green Plantains
  2. Peel Plantains and wash staines off for a few seconds
  3. use a Grater to grate Plantains into a mixture-like form, empty grated plantain into a medium sized pot and pour 5 cups of cold water into pot. use a table spoon to mix content. (You can also cut plantain into smaller pieces and blend them in about 5 cups of cold water).
  4. Place pot with Plantain mixture on the stove, set the flame to medium and allow mixture to boil for 15 minutes.
  5. Lower the flame after 15 minutes and then add some ingredients like; cinnimon leaf, 2-3 table spoon vanilla, a little table salt to taste and half cut coconut milk
  6. Pour all the ingredience into the pot and mix repeatedly until blended.
  7. Allow porridge to boil under low flame for another 7 minutes.
  8. Turn flame off and allow porridge to cool for a few minutes.
  9. Sweeten your porridge with Granulated sugar and with either evaporated milk, condensed milk or regular low fat milk. The choice is yours.
  10. Sit back relax and enjoy your Green Plantain Porridge with a slice of toast.
