Don't worry guys,I'm not suggesting that you take over the brides makeup kit on your beach wedding day.Glad I've got you're attention.

Remember that your wedding day is your day too.Do do pamper yourself too before the big day, perhaps a clean shave and a haircut to look your best on that special day.

Your bride to be  maybe successfully running the show but she could do with a helping hand. You may be reluctant to help because of  the anxiety surrounding flowers and colour schemes, but here are a few examples of how you could be the helpful guy that you really are.

Your fiance may not admit it, but she will appreciate your assistance as a relief from the myriad tasks she's already handling. If anything your help will going along way in impressing your your girl.

Start by hadling the following;

  • Finalise your portion of the guest list
  • Source and sample wedding bands (not just the rings) but the music for the reception.
  • Marriage License and Blood Test (if required)
  • Transportation to and from venues for wedding party and or complimentary guest transport.
  • Honeymoon and travel accommodation
  • Handle all matters relating to groomsman
  • Taking care of your speech overseeing the master of ceremonies speech.
  • Helping review the wedding planning checklist
  • reviewing that the budget is in check.

DON'T CALL THE WHOLE THING OFF

BRIDES TO BE THIS IS HOW YOU CAN GET YOUR GROOM INVOLVED IN THE BEACH WEDDING PLANNING

Brides, you have to remember that your wedding isn't all about you. It's about your partner, too. So before you can monopolize all the wedding trappings, think again.

You might want a big wedding, but your partner might have something smaller in mind. You might want to have an enchanted ball theme, but your partner might prefer a wedding on a beautiful beach. It might seem like a no-win situation, but it's not.The key is constant communication and a little compromise. It's just a matter of meeting each other halfway and setting ground rules.

Don't Delegate-Define His Responsibilities

To get your groom involved in wedding planning without even really trying, the first thing you should do is define his responsibilities and make your expectations clear. Believe it or not, if your fiancé has a number of defined tasks, he'll make sure to get them done right, if for no other reason than to impress you (and your mother).

Let Him Execute

Once you've outlined a list of potential tasks , give him free rein to execute and plan. For example, consider logistics like wedding transportation, then he will be responsible for sourcing and appointing the appropriate vendors.

GROOMS ACTION PLAN

With all that wedding planning crowding your mind and your bride's focus on her outfit, you might forget about all the formal wear. But looking good requires planning ahead. Follow this to-do timeline guide.

Three Months Before

  • Decide on your beach wedding attire. If you will be  dressed in a tux then go tux shopping or reserve rentals for you and your posse.

One Month Before

  • If you’re having  custom made attire then make sure alterations are finished well before the day.

One Week Before

  • Get a haircut!
  • Get a manicure (no polish -- just clean, buffed nails).
  • Buy new boxers for the big day. Surprise your bride with something stylish.

One Day Before

  • If you’re renting, pick up your attire. Make sure your groomsmen, your father, and the ring bearer get their attire, too.
  • If you’re renting or buying, double check that all the elements are included in the correct size: jacket, trousers, shirt, tie, vest or cummerbund, shoes, cuff links, and dress socks.
  • If you will be dressing somewhere other than at home, pack up your outfit and grooming products .

The Morning of the Wedding Day

  • Get a close shave.
  • Take a hot shower.
  • Remember your deodorant! This might be a high-sweat day.
  • Remember the rings. Place them in your pocket to entrust to your best man.
  • If possible, ask your mother to pin on your boutonniere. This mother/son moment will bring a tear to her eye.
  • Take a deep breathe, relax ,take one final look in the mirror then make your way to your beautiful bride who awaits.
