A good feminine tattoo design will accentuate your body. More and more women are getting tattoos now, so there are many styles to choose from.

On average, the female form is smaller than the male's. If your body is smaller consider getting a design that will scale down. Tribal and floral designs work well for that purpose. A bird or dolphin could work, but if they get too small you won't be able to see enough detail.

Some women prefer smaller tattoos because they feel more feminine, are less painful to get inked, and work well with singular or smaller designs. If this is your first tatto, or want to be more discreet, consider going smaller. My first tatto was a smaller rose. I've gone bigger since then, but for starting out it was great!
