How to play Guitar Hero: World Tour
The music in World Tour is amazing, and the game play is similar to Rock Band and previous version of Guitar Hero. You work your way through a career mode, playing the instrument of your choice or you can play with an entire band. There is a free play mode, too. While the guitar and microphone are formidable for game play, when it comes to the drums, you might as well forget they come with the game.
While Guitar Hero: World Tour has a wide range of music to play, the drum kit leaves little to be desired when it comes to long term game play. While the drum pedal was left out of the design, - that being the most reported problem with the Rock Band version – the rest of the drum kit design is flawed. Since the drums are easily broken or otherwise malfunction during game play, they do not last long when playing. Since the drums take the most punishment, this is not a good game to get for someone who might want to utilize the drums the most.
Is Guitar Hero: World Tour worth it?
It has been suggestive that if you really want to take part in the Guitar Hero: World Tour experience, try buying just the game and using peripherals from Rock Band 2 to play it. This is not a solution for all video game console systems, but it can work if you want to enjoy the songs and game play of World Tour. Guitar Hero: World Tour is best left to play on its own instead of with its kit.
