If you’re looking for hair thickening reviews, you’ve come to the right place. If you’re looking for some kind of miracle volumizing secrets – you’re bang out of luck. Your hair type is set in stone: what you’ve got … you’ve got. But there are a few ways and means to make it look thicker. Most include cosmetic volumizers and pomades and all have nothing to do with growing thicker hair.

No matter what the advertising tells you.

Hair Thickening

Hair thickening is a multi-million dollar business. Let’s get that out of the way - right from the start. Most companies are more interested in your money than they are in your hair. That said, your hairs’ needs are important; if you don’t need a specific remedy, they’ve nothing to produce. Pure math.

Due to your need to find an elusive product that will add body and bounce, all the big wigs (pun intended) are looking to find new, improved and – more importantly - proven hair thickening products. The more satisfied girls (and boys) on the buyers market, the more their thickening products sell, the more money they make … and everybody’s happy.

So what’s out there? By and large, the bigger chunk of the market is in thickening shampoos and conditioners. Shampoos literally are a wash and go product – no mess, no fuss. No need for trips to the hairdressers. Plus you won’t find yourself having to hang around the house, dripping – and hoping that no one knocks on the door. Of the ones available on the market today – and there’s quite a few – Tigi and Fat Hair seem to have the market squarely covered.

That said, hair thickening with shampoos/conditioners doesn't always come cheap, at around $12 to $15 per 100ml bottle. Still, the reviews are pretty good and what price thicker hair? After all, you can take a trip down to your local hairdresser - for the luxury of having them thicken your hair up - and probably come away with a $60 hole in your pocket. Not to mention less hair in terms of length. You know how those hairdressers just love to snip.

The expensive alternative is to go all out and opt for hair extensions. However, that’s a matter of both personal choice and how much you want to spend. On top of that, not all salons are wholly qualified to start weaving or sewing in strips of imitation (or real) hair. Beware – the world of media abounds with hair-weaving horror stories.

As a cheaper, instant alternative – you could opt for clip-in false hair. There is a knack to it – think along the lines of false eyelashes – but once you’ve got it sussed, it really is incredibly easy. Clip-in hair is great for nights out and special occasions. However, you can and should expect to pay more for real hair but, if real hair is your choice, it is long lasting, can be used over and again and styled as you would with your own hair. And there’s a another great plus to false hair pieces.

It redefines the phrase ‘letting your hair down’ - when you remove it at the end of a great night out.
