HUMAN WEAPONS

assasult rifle

This rifle is gas operated and and magazine fed. it fires 7.62mm armour-piercing rounds. The short bursts are more accurate than fully atomatic fire. It has a MA5B's integrated computer wich displays rounds left in the magazine.

Battle rifle

The battle rifle fires 9.5mm rounds from a 36 round magazine. It is mounted with a 2x optical scope. Fires in short, automatic bursts of three rounds. It is relatively accurate and is a usefull all-around infantry weapon.

M6D PISTOL

This pistol is a recoil operated magazine-fed hand gun. It is issued with a smart-linked scope capable of 2x magnification. It fires 12.7 semi armour-piercing high explosive rounds.

M90 SHOTGUN

The shotgun is a pump action magazine fed weapon. it fires 8 gauge magnum 3.5" rounds. this weapon is very affective against close range and nay be used to engage several targets simultaneously at medium and long range.

S2 AM SNIPER RIFLE

This rifle is a gas operated magazine -fed wepon.It is issued with a smart link scope with two levals of magnification.It fires 14.5mm armour-piercing fin-stabalised discarding-sabot rounds.

M19 SSM ROCKET LAUNCHER

the M19 SSM is a man-portable and shoulder-fired rocket launcher.It has two major components,the launcher and the magazine(the expendable part of the system) contains two 102mm shaped-charge, high explosive tracking rockets.

M7/CASELESS SUB MACHINE GUN (SMG)

"Bullet hose" fires sustained bursts of 5mm fire from 60-round magazine. SMG's are not accurate over long distances, but can provide withering fire at close quaters battles. Tends to "walk" upwards as compounding momentum from recoil takes hold. Therefore, carefully moderation of aim required to maintain accuracy.

COVENANT WEAPONS

PLASMA PISTOL

Understood better than most covenant weapons,plasma is semi automatic, direct energy weapon. Fires rapid bursts of super heated plasma. Holding the trigger for longer can build up a powerfull overcharged plasma bolt.

PLASMA RIFLE

Favoured by elites, but used by many covenant troops, is a directed energy weapon and capable of both automatic and semi automatic fire. Extended bursts of automatic fire causes weapon to over heat.

NEEDLER

Unusual magazine fed weeapon fires razor sharp crystalin projectiles. Using unexplained homing ability to centre on soft organic targets, to pierce flesh no matter the angle of impact. Ammunition explodes after it impacts flesh, causing further damage.

COVENANT CARBINE

Rare covenant projectile firing rifle, a powerfull stocky weapon, and fitted with a magnifying scope. Fires single rounds with high degree of power and accuracy. It offers similar penetration to a UNSC battle rifle.

BEAM RIFLE

Very precise, powerful weapon, uses realatively familiar pratical beam acceleration method to fire a devostating beam of energy. the battery capacity means it can nly fire up to 18 bursts before depleting charge. intergated scope enables two levels of zoom 5x and 10x makes exellent sniper weapon.

BRUTE SHOT

type of greanade launcher used as far as we can tell. Exclusivly used by the brutes. It fires 4 greanades per round and can be deflected deliberatley as a tactical reason, such as firing around corners. but it is one of the most least accurate covenant weapon we have encountered. there is also a huge razor-sharp bayonet used as a melee weapon.

ENERGY SWORD

Initialy thought to be purley ceremonial few have been seen in combat. They are carried by high ranking ellites. Nobody knows how it is functioned but it cuts through any armour wit ease.
