Easy Hazelnut Slice Recipe

This yummy slice is very simple and easy to make, even kids can make it. This recipe has been pass on to me by my friend MaryAnn, it is her specialty.

For those of you who have a sweet tooth, this one is for you.


You will need the following to make the Crumb mixture:

125g. BUTTER

3/4 cup CONDENSED MILK

2 Tablespoon GOLDEN SYRUP

250 g. ARROWROOT BISCUIT

1 cup flaked toasted ALMONDS

Topping Ingredients:

250 g. HAZELNUT CHOC. bar

60g. COPHA


Procedures

Preparation Time: 20-25 minutes

Part 1:

  1. Place butter, condensed milk , golden syrup into a small saucepan.

  2. Stir over low heat till butter is melted . Simmer for 2 minutes.

  3. Place Arrowroot crumbs to a bowl, add Almonds and butter mixture and mix well.

  4. Grease and line slab tin baking pan with baking paper.

  5. Press mixture evenly into pan. Refrigerate.

Part 2:

  • Prepare the Topping

  1. Combine chocolate and copha in a sauce pan. Stir over low heat till melted and smooth.

  • To finish

  1. Pour on crumb mixture. refrigerate till set.

    Allow to harden in the fridge for at least two hours.

  2. Cut into squares.

  3. Serve at afternoon tea or after dinner.
