Exercising for Weight Loss & "The Buddy System"
If you are exercising regularly as part of a healthy weight loss program (and you should be!) then having a "Buddy System" can help to "Keep You Accountable" for your personal progress.
Once you are on an exercise weight loss program, there will be occasions when you just don't feel like getting out of bed and working out. Possibly, even going for a walk or jogging just isn't something that you want to do today. Well, in that case, teaming up with a friend (or "buddy") who will exercise alongside you can make a big difference.
Consider the situation where you are going for a 30-minute walk or jog around the same route day after day. You get bored with looking at the same scenery so you decide to take a different way. Well, in the end, you will run out of different paths to take, but if a friend joins you on the walks/jogs it can help you to stay focused, and by engaging in conversation, the walk/jog suddenly seems to have sped by because it was so agreeable.
Then, take the case of going to the gym. Sometimes it can be not so much fun going there on your own either. But once again, if a companion joins you it can make the whole experience more pleasing. Indeed, you are likely to find that you can work out for longer, using more diverse pieces of apparatus, whilst being all the time in a companionable competition with your buddy.
This is all about personal accountability. You and your companion commit to achieving the objectives that you set, and neither of you then permit the other to go back on the deal. Introducing an element of friendly competitiveness it makes it far less likely that you will give in to aches or tiredness because the presence of your buddy will keep you "up to the mark" in terms of achieving the goals you have set.
While exercise is a vital component of any healthy weight loss program, nobody said that it needs to be undertaken alone! If you look around your own locality you will doubtless see many people jogging or walking with a spouse, friend, or partner, because this is how many people stay committed to taking their regular exercise.
If you are already into exercising with a friend then good for you! If you don't, then why not contact a friend who you think might be receptive to this idea and ask if they would join you for an exercise session or two? You never know, you might just be doing your friend a big favour as well.

Does fat burning foods like brocoli and asparagus really work?
I fully agree with you; there are so many options for exercise in our everyday lives that if we took advantage of those it would be more than enough workout. Thank you for a great lens!
Congratulations on your weight loss. I agree that having a workout partner is a great key to success.
good tips
I totally agree with the buddy system. It adds a level of accountability and motivation to our diet efforts. You can lie to yourself, but you can't lie to your 'buddy'. The result will speaks ofr itself ;-)
