Normally, we all experience some form of anxiety in our life time, especially during stressful moments. This anxious feeling could stem from something as simple as meeting someone new or delivering a speech to a room full of strangers. Each creates an uneasy fear which is a normal and rational response to the situation. But if you feel waves of overwhelming apprehension that sneaks up on you without warning, then you are no longer experiencing regular anxiety. These new feelings maybe caused by a panic attack.

Now I could spell out all the symptoms for your panic disorder (they are all over the Internet), but you probably already know most of them. And what you need is help for panic attacks! If you are suffering from anxiety attacks, then your first step (if you haven't already) is to see a doctor or therapist.

Medications will probably be prescribed which will help with your panic symptoms. Plus, seeking the help of a good psychologist with experience in treating panic disorder could be most beneficial. By using cognitive behavioral therapy, you could change the thinking patterns that trigger your fears.

There are a number of alternative methods that may help you deal with your anxieties. They may be as simple as repeatedly taking a deep breath in, holding it and breathing out. This may sound like a simple thing to do but let's be real it is extremely hard to take control and calming yourself.

The choice is up to you; live with fear, anxiety and a world out of control. Or take your life back by taking the next step to help cure your panic attacks.
