What Makes HHO Dry Cells Better ?

What Is A HHO Dry Cell?
How Is The HHO Dry Cell More Efficient?

" HHO Dry Cell" is a name that has been attached to a particular design of hho electrolyzers, or HHO generators.
The term dry-cell is a bit confusing to some people because they wonder how you can be using electrolysis of water to make HHO gas
if the unit runs dry. Truth is these hho drycells use electrolyte in water like any other hho electrolyzer.
However the properties and the design of the hho Dry Cell make it a much more efficient hho generator.
Maybe a better name could have been found for this hho generator design, but "HHO Dry Cell" is here to stay.

With most other common types of HHO generators the whole cell is submerged into an open bath of electrolyte and water.
This is not the case with the dry cell design, instead, the dry cell's plates are separated by rubber gaskets, and the electrolyte is confined inside those gaskets where the main body of the plates is bathed in the solution and no energy is lost.
The edges of the plates, including all of the electrical connections are outside of the electrolyte bath. Designers of "open bath" units such as the Bob Boyce 101 have been experimenting with all kinds of ways to seal the edges of their plates as this is where most of the energy is lost.

The cell plates have holes in them in order to get electrolyte in to the cell plates, and to let the gas get out. This is one area of experimentation with the HHO dry cell that is still on going, hho dry-cell builders seem to have differing opinions as to the number of holes and the displacement of the holes for optimum performance.
There are holes at the top of each plate, so that the HHO gas can pass from between the plates to the outer sides of the cell.
The upper fitting on the hho dry cell allows the HHO gas to get out of the cell.
There are also holes at the bottom of each plate to allow the water/catalyst to circulate between all plates.
The lower fitting on the HHO dry cell is for replenishing the water mixture which is held in a tank separate from the cell.

So to summarize, what makes a hho generator a "dry cell" ?. Well basically the electrical connections to the plates are dry and the edges of the plates, where a great deal of electrical current can be lost, are outside of the electrolyte bath.
That's really all there is to it. Get HHO Dry Cell Kits
