If you are trying to think of the perfect gift to give your dad on father’s day then you should consider hiring a beautiful classic car for the day or the weekend.

A classic car can be a really expensive item and most people would not be able to afford to buy one, however long they saved. Now there is the possibility of getting all the thrill of being an owner, even though it is a temporary ownership. Your dad could get the chance to feel like a superstar or celebrity by getting behind the wheel of a wide range of vintage cars that are perfectly functioning automobiles.

There are a range of dream cars to choose from depending on your personal taste and budget. Think about the type of classic car you think your dad would prefer.

One thing you could consider is to purchase a membership to a classic car club. This yearly fee would enable you to make use of a batch of cars that the club has in its portfolio. Different clubs will charge different prices of course so you will have to do some research online to find out how much this membership will cost.

If you are interested in old classic cars for rent you could try a company called The Open Road Classic Car Hire which has an online site showing you all the cars that they have on offer.

A great car to hire as a father’s day gift is the 1963 Austin Healy 300. You could hire this car for around £290 per day. Or maybe you would prefer something like the 1966 Ford Mustang Fastback. This was the car used by the actor Steve McQueen in the classic film Bullitt. This costs around £220 to hire per day.

Whatever style you prefer, there will surely be a classic car to meet your requirements. This would definitely be a father’s day present to be remembered and cherished. Be sure to take along your digital camera and camcorder so that your dad can record every precious moment and have a permanent reminder of his day with a great classic car.
