"Backpack! backpack!" and "Go Diego Go!" are phrases quite often heard in my home. Dora the Explorer and her cousin, Diego, always save the day! Just like Mickey Mouse, Dora and Diego are staples in our house. My girls love to watch the TV shows, but they also really like the books, especially the Dora ones.

Last night we read Dora Goes to School at bedtime. We must have read that book a hundred times by now, but they never get tired of it! Same goes for the TV shows - kids enjoy watching their favorite TV shows over and over again and never seem to tire of them. Dora the Explorer and Go Diego Go are no exceptions. I like the educational aspect of these programs; Dora the Explorer has really enhanced my daughter's ability to count in Spanish, among other lessons learned.

Dora's trusty Talking Backpack sings her signature song when you press her mouth and she comes with a video camera, compass, telescope and map that all fit neatly inside the backpack.

This purse makes a great gift for little Dora fans; I've given this to a couple of little girls and it has always been a big hit. Kids can use the included stickers to personalize their purse.
