Holosync Dangers
66Holosync Dangers
When Holosync first arrived on the personal development scene it was considered a late 20th century innovation for self improvement. With improvements and updates Holosync is now looked upon as a 21st century marvel of personal growth. However, as the Holosync program has grown in popularity and prestige among self improvement circles so too has it come to the attention of those who are fearful of its powerful technology. There are forum posts and articles that outline the dangers of using brain entrainment, which is the technology behind Holosync, and create panic and fear in their readers.
The Science Behind Holosync
Why are there so many fears around this technology and is it alright to question how Holosync works and even consider it to be dangerous?
In order to better understand the concerns raised about Holosync and its use of binaural beats it is necessary to consider exactly what Holosync is designed for and how it works.
Holosync is a unique program for brain entrainment that utilizes binaural beats. Now binaural beats, or any form of brain entrainment, are designed to alter the frequency of your brainwaves. By doing this it is possible to create altered states of consciousness i.e. Alpha state, Theta state, Delta state.
Brain entrainment tracks are designed to create the physical benefits that are associated with the brainwave states mentioned above by creating these brainwaves. Listening to a Theta or Delta binaural beat recording; for example, can induce a deep and refreshing sleep.
The vast majority of such recordings are made to be used frequently so that you can create a specific similar state with each listening. Holosync is very different.
Holosync was designed not to be used as a stand-alone product but to be completed as a course for personal development.
The unique approach which Holosync offers, which differs greatly from other similar product lines, is that it is a course created to remove negative emotions connected to memories from your consciousness. This is where the misconceptions of it being dangerous arise.
Once these negative memories begin to surface and the listener becomes aware of the acute negative energy around them it can become very uncomfortable. However, many times (but not always) it is necessary to become conscious of these negative emotions so that the brain can do what it does naturally - let them go! This has a dramatic effect on our automatic thinking, feeling and behaviour in an extremely positive way!
What about the Dangers?
The upheaval that is experienced by some Holosync users is natural and beneficial in the long-term. These benefits are sought after by experienced transcendental meditators and it takes decades to perfect using traditional meditation techniques. Holosync accelerates this process and therefore it can be upsetting to people who are not expecting it.
Holsync is a course that takes several years to complete. It comes in stages, or levels, that are designed to uncover and remove more and more negativity from the subconscious mind.Although it takes several years to complete the full program, the benefits you get from each level remain permanent.
Consclusion
There is one noteworthy person who claims Holosync is dangerous - Michael Hutchinson. Mr Hutchinson made his claims without having ever used Holosync (to the best of my knowledge and that of the Holosync creator) or having any evidence to support his claim! In addition he does not make any negative claims about other binaural beat recordings yet they use the exact same technological methods!
If Michael really believes Holosync to be dangerous then he should tell us why and back it up with some proof.
There is a stack of mounting evidence to support the belief that Holosync is a beneficial and powerful personal development tool. Yet there is little evidence to suggest it is dangerous. I would therefore advise you to do your own research and come up to your own conclusion as to whether Holosync is right for you or not!
