Is Holosync Dangerous?
59Holosync Dangers
In the beginning Holosync was considered a major break-through as far as self improvement tools go. However, with increased interest in binaural beats, which is the technology behind the Holosync program, comes increased scrutiny. There are website posts online that outline the dangers of using binaural beats and Holosync that cause fear and apprehension in many would be Holosync users.
The Science Behind Holosync
Is it therefore okay to want to know more about how Holosync works and consider it dangerous?
In order to better understand the concerns raised about Holosync and its use of binaural beats it is necessary to consider exactly what Holosync is designed for and how it works.
Any type of brain entrainment recording, Holosync included, is desgined to induce specific brainwave states in the listener. These brainwave states are associated with certain frequencies the most common ones induced by brain entrainment are alpha, theta and delta.
Specific brainwave states such as those previously mentioned offer a great amount of physical benefits. For example when you enter a deep, restful sleep you will be displaying Delta brainwaves, so listening to a delta recording will induce such a sleep.
Now most brain entrainment recordings are designed to create just one state and used as a stand-alone product. However, Holosync is very different.
Bill Harris, the CEO and creator of the Holosync Solution, designed it to be a acceleration tool for personal growth so it works a little differently from other recordings.
The unique approach which Holosync offers, which differs greatly from other similar product lines, is that it is a course created to remove negative emotions connected to memories from your consciousness. This is where the misconceptions of it being dangerous arise.
It is the re-surfacing of this negative that gives rise to fear in many people because it can create discomfort, disease and a certain degree of upheaval. This is perfectly normal and, in fact, necessary in order to become more conscious of the subconscious programs that have been affecting our lives for so long. Once conscious of them we then, through a natural and effortless internal process, let them go.
What about the Dangers?
The upheaval that is experienced by some Holosync users is natural and beneficial in the long-term. These benefits are sought after by experienced transcendental meditators and it takes decades to perfect using traditional meditation techniques. Holosync accelerates this process and therefore it can be upsetting to people who are not expecting it.
Holsync has been designed to be used over a period of several years (yes that's right years) with each stage of the program using more sophisticated recordings to uncover deeper levels of negativity. However, whatever benefits you receive from each level are permanent.
Consclusion
As for other questionable attempts to discredit Holosync and claim it to be dangerous I will outline one example. Michael Hutchinson has made comments that Holosync is dangerous yet to best of anyone's knowledge he has never used the product nor does he claim to have. Nor does he give any basis or evidence of scientific research to back up his claim. Added to that he does not cliam that other binaural beats products are dangerous even though they use the same technology!
In my humble opinion Mr Hutchinson should put his money where his mouth is and show us some evidence.
Even though there appears to be no empirical evidence that shows Holosync is dangerous and a lot of positive stories about its effectiveness I would strongly advise you to research the subject yourself. Once you have all the evidence you will be in a better position to determine whether Holosync would be beneficial to you or not.

Mark Harris has not developed anything new, he simply put his name on Hemisync. I am particularly disturbed to find that he markets Holosync to infants! His newsletter 'Mindclutter', is a rag with no basis in science. Mr. Harris is a crook.
