Home remedy for wart

Warts are a common condition that affects people irrespective of age group or skin type. They tend to appear on the fingers and hands, though they can also appear on other parts of the body. They occur in clusters and do not appear alone. They make the surface of the skin scratchy and rough. Broken skin is an easy way for the virus that causes warts to enter the skin. In fact people with a nail biting habit are quite prone to getting them. Warts are usually seen as unpleasant and unwanted, and this is because they are tumor like growths which mar the skin. Though non cancerous in nature, these growths are something that everyone who has them wants to get rid of. Home remedies can be low cost and effective ways to get rid of your warts. Some popular home remedies for warts are described below:
Home remedy for wart
Duct tape is one of the most popular home remedies to get rid of warts. Scientific research, too, backs this treatment. What you have to do is apply the duct tape on the wart. The wart should then be kept covered for a week. When the week is up, the duct tape should be removed and the area should be soaked in water followed by a good scrub with a pumice stone. If the wart does not come off easily then the whole procedure has to be repeated. You might want to wait for another week or two between tries.
Aloe is a useful substance that helps to eliminate warts. A small ball of cotton should be soaked in aloe gel and taped on to the wart. After every few hours, more aloe should be added on the cotton. The cotton ball should be left on the wart for a few days, except when it has to be changed for a fresh piece of cotton. The wart will automatically fall off in some days or weeks.
Castor oil is another thing that helps in eliminating warts. The oil should be applied directly to the wart and then the area should be massaged. This should be done twice daily for a number of weeks, until the warts begin to disappear. You could also cover the area where you apply the castor oil with the help of a bandage. It will take about three weeks for the wart to disappear.
Aspirin, bananas, dandelion, chalk, papaya, baking soda, milkweed and lemon juice are some other remedies that are quite effective in treating warts. You must keep in mind the fact that certain home ingredients might cause further allergies and may not suit you. Therefore refrain from using these. If you are in doubt, switch over to a different remedy.
It is imperative to note that though home remedies are quite beneficial, there might be cases when results do not go as expected. Hence home remedies may not guarantee results. However, with so many options of home remedies out there, you might find one which is completely suited for you and help you in banishing your problem. The key here is patience and diligence.

thank you so much this was the best page so far. my mom sad i should just call the doc. but i would rather do this but that is jus me.
Burn your wart with matches! This remedy is only for warts not covered in skin. Such as cauliflour types. This remedy will kill your wart straight away but you will need to take painkillers as you will experience a painful trobbing. To do this treatment light a match then blow it out and really quickly place it on your wart and keep it there until the heat has gone. Repeat several times until you think you've killed it. This will work, just be brave. No pain No gain!
I tried all the home remedies and the freezing products and nothing worked. I had 3 plantar warts on the bottom of my foot and they were spreading. My mom met a lady at church that said her hands used to be covered in warts and that she used Thuja liquid and in 3 months she no longer had anymore warts on her hands. I have used the thuja liquid and my warts are finally gone!!! You can get this at a GNC store or a herbal store. Its in a lil glass bottle with a dropper and u put it on your wart 4 times a day. I can't believe my warts are gone!! Just wanted to share this with everyone!!
I have had an ongoing battle with warts for the last 2 yrs. I started out with only 4 but they quickly spread to around 50 small little flat warts. I also started noticing that I was getting some on my face! I was so embarassed by this problem because it was soooo noticable. I quickly began to try anything and everything to get rid of these things. I went to the doctor where they gave me a cream to fight it since if they burned them off i would have had tons of scars. That didn't work. Then i tried some home remedies as well as freezing them off myself. Freezing them just made them grow biggers and spread to even more whil leaving ugly scars. Then the duck tap and vinagar made them go away but they soon came back within as little as a week. I started to give up hope and live with having a ton of warts. Then i stumbled across this stuff called "heal wart" and it is amazing! not the greatest smell but ive only been using it a little as a month and all the warts on my face are gone as well as the majority on my legs. I have a few more but they are continuing to go away! this stuff was a life saver because it has restored my self esteem and has made almost all my warts go away without any scarring and they have stayed away since it works from the root up! so I thought i would suggest this stuff to anyone who feels as though they tried everything because it was the ONLY stuff that was able to help me and I'm very greatful!!!
