Home Body Wraps - Do They Work, & What Are They?

Do Home Body Wraps Work?
There is an ongoing argument about whether or not home body wraps actually work to aide in sustainable fat loss. It is fairly well known that home body wraps can allow you to lose several inches in a matter of hours, but the question still remains if the effects will last for more than one day.
It could also be a question that is never answered legitimately, as home body wraps are not an FDA approved drug.
The FDA has very tight rules about what products or treatments can claim to cause actual weight loss. In doing so, they limit all natural, effective treatments from being promoted to the general public. Unless, of course the product creators want to undergo an expensive, drawn out, process to approve the product.
This could be for the better, as it rules out potentially unsafe items from used, however, it also prohibits some otherwise great cures from entering the marketplace.
So, the question of whether or not home body wraps actually work, may be one that is never actually answered. All we can do is make an informed judgement with regard to testimonies, and the opinions of others, and perhaps give them a try.

What Are Home Body Wraps?
The are a few different kinds of home body wraps on the market today, and you should be careful in determining the most effective type for your desired benefit.
Many home body wrap treatments are composed of muds and intense wrapping on your entire body with the goal of water release. These are the most common form of body wraps, but this type is also very well known to be a temporary fix for a big night out, when immediate intense inch loss is desired, etc.
There is another type of home wrap that is primarily promoted as a weight loss supplement. This type is often spot targeting specific and makes claims of permanant inch loss results - similar to liposuction, and has numerous testimonies all over the Internet.
Whichever type of home body wrap suits you best it up to you, but do your due diligence and don't get stuck with an option you didn't ask for. (Which is very easy to do, with the huge variety of options) And, feel free to leave a comment with regard to your experience here.

Great hub here on home body wraps. My wife tried the ones that you put on and you lose inches in 45 minutes. I was actually very surprised with the results. So, I agree that you have to make an informed judgement on testimonials. I wouldve never believed the results if I hadn't seen them for myself.
Thanks for the comment nymesis. Exactly true. I never would have thought body wraps could actually work until I saw for myself.
Temporary is the key word here. Fat can not be reduced without diet and exercise. Body wrapping is for contouring when a person is following a healthy diet and increasing eactivity. I am a trained, certified and licensed professional and I provide body wrapping services. I would never mislead my clients about the process being permanent or that it 'melts' fat away. Smoke and mirrors do two things, take a clients money and give them false hope.
