Have you ever had one of those moments when your expensive specially purchased organic, not tested on animals, cleanser has suddenly become empty and you dont have the opportunity to pick up that magical potion before you have your shower.

I have and after reading all those books on make your own facial cleanser etc, with additional glyercin and gloves and bottles and herbs, I havent had time or motivation to create my own magical potion.

Instead, I rushed to the fridge and found the jar of yummy organic honey that I would use for a smoothy or on my toast and dipped my fingertips in. It felt fantastic. It felt glamorous. I knew I had found it the greatest  beauty secret on earth. HONEY. Organic honey.

All those homemade recipes that want rolled oats and crushed almonds, forget them. Luxurious, delectable, glamorous, delicate, decadent, natural, organic honey. It really is the most magical of all the beauty secrets there is.

Another day, another rushed exit from the bathroom. No toner, my wonderful organic toner all used up.

To the fridge. What can I use? I eyed a lemon in the door, sliced it, washed it, wiped it across my face and felt magnificent. My skin was tight and healthy and glowing. Magic.

I still use my toner and the secret of my bought toner, which I have made when motivated and having the time to make. Is simply rosewater. Not the organically labelled expensive brand that is watered down. The original concerntrated bottle from the chemist with a bit of spring water... and you have the toner models use.

Salt scrubs. Again, if you run out of soap, just pop to the pantry and grab the sea salt. You can mix it with some essential oil if you have any or just use the salt. It is cleansing and lightening and adds a spiritual cleanse to your bathroom routine.

If you have time, you can make a salt scrub up like the ones in the natural skincare books, or just add some basil or mint, a bit of honey or essential oils. It can cleanse the skin, the mind and the body.
