Sarees (sari) is a type of dressing donned by women across India, Nepal and Sri Lanka. Sarees of distinct areas are different according to their culture and customs. The sarees are light weight and can be worn for both formal and casual wear. Sarees are essentially long pieces of fabric worn wrapped in a number of flairs around the body. Sarees adorned with beautiful works of zari, kinari and salma can be a useful collection for women. These sarees are traditionally made of light silk, whilst neoclassical variants are occasionally being created from cotton mixes. Sarees contributes towards the richness of Indian culture and heightens the beauty and elegance of the wearer.

The sarees are usually available in both the contemporary and traditional designs. They are exclusive in terms of designing, color combinations and will vary from place to place.

A sari is an outfit that reveals as much as it hides. The simple ethnic Indian attire that symbolises the essence of purity and represents the great cultural tradition of India.  The reason for the success of the sari has to be attributed to its total simplicity, practical comfort, and sense of luxury a woman experiences when she wears.  A Sari when properly draped transforms a woman to a graceful, stylish, elegant and sensuous lady.
