In Telugu or Tamil, a song is shot with lot of junior artists. These junior artists or side dancers have to keep up with the theme and situation of the songs. Some songs are masala item numbers. For this the lead dancer will wear skimpy cloths. Even the junior artists or side dancers too wear these skimpy cloths. They are paid higher for a item songs than the regular songs. For a rain song too, the side dancers have to get wet in the thin and skimply small costumes.

There are number of daily newspapers in Tamilnadu, like any other language.  The most popular is Daily Thanthi (thinaththanthi) and Dinakaran followed by Dinamani, Malai Murasu, Dinamalar, Makkal Kural, Murasolia, thinaboomi etc.

The most popular of weekly tabloid magazines are Vikatan, Kalki, Rani, Kungumam, Kumudam.  All of them have their spicy section of printing hot pictures in one section or the other.
