Recycle
Recycle

Every time there's a stuff, which I think I can use them in the future, I keep them because someday I know they will be useful. Stuff like plastic bottles, cardboard tubes, bubble packs from new appliances, etc. Yes stuff like these, I keep them in a one big empty box and put them in the attic. So that by the time I need them, I can easily find them. These are the following:

Recycle Cardboard Tubes

Cardboard Tubes Like Toilet Paper and Paper Towel Tubes

I use toilet paper tubes to store extension cords when they are not in use. Also, I store my string in a paper towel tube. I cut a notch into each end of a paper towel tube. Secure one end of the string in one notch, wrap the string tightly around the tube, and then secure the other end in the other notch. This way, the string is ready to use.

Recycle Bubble Packs

Bubble Packs

I use bubble packs to cushion my work place like when repairing delicate glass or china; I cover the work surface with bubble pack to help prevent breakage. I also use bubble packs to protect my good-quality tools. I line my toolbox with bubble pack using duck tape to hold it in place. With this, it will reduce wear and tear on my tools and extend their lives.

Recycle Empty Buckets

Empty Buckets

To avoid paint spills when painting high on a scaffold or ladder, I put my paint can and brush in a large bucket and use paint-can hooks to hang the bucket and the brush. Another use is, to keep extension cord tangle free, I cut or drill a hole near the bottom of the bucket and let the cord's pronged end pass through. Then coil the rest of the cord into the bucket. The cord will come right out when pulled and is easy to coil back in.  Another thing also with empty buckets is making it as a Christmas tree stand.  Insert the base of the tree in the bucket and fill it with sand or gravel.

Recycle Empty Plastic Jugs

Plastic Bottles/Jugs

I cut a clean plastic half-gallon jug with a handle diagonally from the bottom so that I have the top three-quarters of the jug intact. I now have a handy scoop that can be used to scoop dog food from the bag, removing leaves from the gutter, etc. Another things where I can make use of the plastic bottles is filling them with water and keep them in the freezer for use when transporting food in my cooler. Also we can make a watering can out of a clean 1-gallon juice or milk jug with a handle. I drill many tiny holes just below the spout of the jug on the side opposite handle. Then fill it with water, screw the cap on, and start sprinkling.

Now You Know

There are many things that can be recycled and these are the few only. Next time if you have these stuffs, try to keep them so that by the time you need them, they are always available for use
