Do you have friends buying a house? Are you starting to recognize the fact that you're going to have to get them a housewarming gift?
Now, I don't mean to make that sound like it's a bad thing. However, it can be a stressful thing to do. For example, you may be asking yourself "what do I get them"? or "Where do I go"? While the right question may be "what is a housewarming gift"? And "what makes a good house warming gift"?
Let me start with the first one. What is a housewarming gift? Well, it is something you take to your friend's new house that they are moving into. For some reason plants and flowers have become the norm. Not a good idea. Do you want your friends to have to now take care of something they may not have wanted in the first place, like a plant? How about the flowers that looked great for about four days then died and they now have the negative thought about throwing them out and it's a link to you?
What about getting them something practical, useful, or maybe something they may want to invite you over to use. For example, a wine accessory gift set, cocktail shaker, a giant poker set, bottle openers, drink coaster sets, etc.... an even better idea is to get them personalized and engraved with the date they moved in, or maybe even some catchy nickname for their new abode. These are good because they are usually things that people do not get themselves, and go together with a having friends over to party. Now they have things they can use in times of pleasure and good vibes, and they will think of you. When they use them in front of others, they will be able to retell the story of moving in and who gave them the awesome gift.
