Here's a simple way to add movies to psp. Many people are not confident enough to attempt this but when you see how easy it is, you'll be able to do it as many times as you like with no problems at all. First and this is important, your psp only supports movies in mp4 format so you'll need to convert movies in other formats to this format before you can add them to your PSP. Some of the more recent firmware versions may support other movie formats but mp4 is pretty much the standard. Other supported formats for PSP are AVC and AVI.

What you need:

- USB Cable

- PC

- Memory Stick PRO DUO with at least 128MB. The bigger the memory the better.

- Movies to put on your PSP. Download or Rip your DVD's

After you've collected all the stuff that you need here is what you need to do.

1. Create or download the MP4 movie onto your computer.

1. Insert the memory stick duo into your PSP and format it using the psp itself. Then connect the psp to your pc using the USB cable. Your computer will recognise the psp and assign it a drive. Opening this new drive will allow you to browse the files on your PSP.

2. Now Open the PSP's files on your pc and create a new folder called MP_ROOT. Open the folder you've just created and create another one inside it called 100MNV01.

3. Copy the MP4 movies to the folder that you just created. Disconnect psp from your pc.

4. To watch a movie, navigate to the folder you created for movies on your PSP and select a movie to watch.
