The process of changing the psp background is very easy and it's not complicated at all. Yet most people are totally afraid to try it. Insert your Memory Stick Duo into in your PSP if you don't already have it there. (It's a good idea to format the Memory Stick with the PSP itself). After that connect your PSP to your PC using a USB cable. Your computer will recognise your PSP through the USB and assign it a drive. Your PC may need to install some drivers first, follow the instructions on the screen to do that.

Now double click the USB drive on your PC and navigate to the PSP/PHOTO folder on your PSP device. This is where you should place your psp background wallpaper that you want to use. Disconnect your PSP from your PC and browse to the PHOTO directory/ folder where you placed your photos/backgrounds.
