It's quite easy to copy a movie to your psp device. But first you need to make sure that the movie is in the correct format so that you'll be able to play it on your psp. Most psp devices support movies in mp4 format so this is the format that you should covert all other movies to. Recent firmware versions also support movies in the AVI format.

To copy a movie to your psp you need a memory stick in your psp with enough memory on it. The larger the memory the better. First download the movies from a psp download site onto your pc. You can also rip and convert movies from your existing DVDs using PSPXStudio. There are also other converters that you can use to do the same thing. Just do a search on the major search engines and you'll find plenty to choose from. After you have done that, you then connect your psp to your pc ready for the transfer.

After connecting the PSP to your pc using a USB cable, your pc will recognise the PSP USB cable and assign it a drive. If you open the new drive you'll be able to browse files on your PSP device. This makes it very easy to copy movies from your computer to your psp. But first you need to create some folders on your PSP.

On your pc, browse to your PSP folder or directory and create a folder called MP_ROOT. Inside this folder create another one called 100MNV01. This is where you should copy all the psp movies to.

After you're done copying movie files from your pc to your psp 100MNV01 folder, you can disconnect the PSP from your computer. On your psp, navigate to your 100MNV01 folder and select the movie that you want to watch. That's it. It's as simple as that.
