You can employ the services of a web hosting company. Register your very own domain i.e. website. From there you can have full control of the contents of your website.

• If you dont have a capital to invest

Like most of Adsense partners (thats why they register for this program) is to put up your own website using your home computer. If you do not have a home computer, perhaps you can use your office computer (if you have rights to do so). This approach may need a little know-how and a lot of reading in configuring the settings of the webserver. You can call a friend that have a good IT skills for help. Also read the forums, theres quite a lot scattered around.

Steps in putting up a home webserver.

1. Register a domain name (for a fee) or you can get a free subdomain from dyndns.com or afraid.org. You need to configure the IP provided by your ISP to open the HTTP port to access your webserver from the internet.
2. Get the webserver software. This one is the complete package containing other features. Install it to your webserver computer.
3. Edit the settings of httpd.conf in conf folder according to your set up. Apache has instructions for basic configuration. You need to read the documentation further for more detailed settings.
4. Thats it!, so simple in writing.

You, as the administrator must take into account the security of your webserver. Based on my experience, I had a couple of attacks in a months time after I installed my webserver. But that should not scare you if you dont mix your valuable data in one hard disk.

One note of advise though, you should always backup your important data.
